Location - Perth, Scotland (2016)

Fishroom location - Spare room inside a penthouse flat.

Speciality - Dwarf cichlids (West African and South American), Parosphromenus sp.

 David and i had spoken online before we actually met in person many years ago, we shared similar interests in fish and David was involved with the British cichlid association at the same time as i. 
 During 2016 i visited Scotland (Edinburgh) and spent time with my friends north of the border, most of the aquarists from West Lothian aquarist society are located within Edinburgh or in close proximity, David however is a hours drive north, we visited David and his beautiful wife Ann at his stunning penthouse flat overlooking the River Tay, we were made very welcome and had an hour or two to relax and potter around Davids excellent fishroom which is located in a spare room. 
 The fishroom is small but well thought out, the racking is strong and durable and holds the 25-30 aquariums with ease, the entire room is clean and airy and works well. The fish species had me drooling and there were some that i have looked for for years with no success! David has great taste in fish and great skill in reproducing them! he has spawned and raised a very impressive list of species and i think it will be clear from the pictures that David is an extremely successful aquarist, his room is a credit to him and i am glad that i was given the chance to spend some time in good company in a great fishroom!
