Many thanks for visiting this section of the website, i have been breeding freshwater fish as a hobby for over 25 years now, for at least the last 15 years i have been very serious about my hobby and have kept a writen series of breeding logs for over 600 species, many of these are backed up by photographs (Some of the earlier pictures are not very good due to my skill and technology!) some unfortunately are not backed up by photographic evidence although i will endevour to rebreed these species and add accurate photographic evidence. 

 I love to read and study my Hobby of breeding fish and i have a huge admiration for those breeders that went before me and contributed so much to the knowledge in the hobby, the writings of Hans J Richter, Nachstedt, Josher, Tusche, Innes, McInerny and Axelrod inspired me to try new and exciting species, the detailed spawning photographs from Ruda Zukal and Hans Joachim Richter were an inspiration to me and gave me the desire to try and emulate these old school breeders. 

 

 Today in the modern age we have it so much easier, in the early days of film cameras the margin for error was large and a lot of time and patience was needed, today with digital photography we are very lucky to be able to instantly see if we have the 'winning shot' 

 

 It was originally my intention to share my 600 breeding logs and 1000's of detailed photographs via a book, i would love nothing more than to publish a paper copy of my lifes work, unfortunately in this day and age there are fewer and fewer people reading from paper and i have seen so many dedicated aquarists write and publish only to find the production costs high and the subsequent resale price too high for the majority of casual aquarists! so it made perfect sense to share my breeding secrets with the world via this website. I am going to charge a small fee to access this section of the site, i promise that it will be worth the small fee i am requesting, the money raised will go back towards supporting my fishroom and aquiring new and exciting breeding projects!

 This section will be a work in process, not all of my 600 logs are available straight away, i intend to update this section on a regular basis, i am sure that you will not be disapointed!
